Milaca Bluegrass Festival
Things to do

Just across the bridge from the festival are over 14-miles of trails, nestled within 200 acres of scenic woodland and river views. This area is a photographers paradise.

Milaca has some of the finest mountain bike trails in Minnesota. Start with a gentle ride through "The Meadows", then continue through "The Pines" and the "Rum River Run", for a beautifully scenic ride along the river. Riders looking for more challenge, will enjoy the "North Woods Trail", the "Bog Monster" and the "Sky Hill" trails.

The Rum River also offers some of the best water trails, especially for beginners and intermediate canoeist/kayakers.

Bring your rod and enjoy fishing on the Rum! Northern pike, small mouth bass and walleye are among the most popular catches. Visit our local bait shops for some tips on local "bites".

Milaca is home to a scenic 18-hole golf course (located one mile down the road from the festival) and a new 9-cage disc golf (within walking distance).

Take a tour around town and check out Milaca’s creative fire hydrants. These are a creative display of some of your favorite cartoon creatures that you have just to see.
